Day 2 – STEMByte at ImmerseCon 2025: Wrapping Up with Wonder

STEMByte Initiative was excited to continue the journey on Day 2 of ImmerseCon 2025! Having our own booth throughout the weekend gave us another incredible opportunity to connect with families, educators, tech enthusiasts, and curious learners of all ages. The energy and excitement carried over from Day 1 and made for an unforgettable finale.

We started the day with STEMByte’s Cyber Code Jeopardy, a fun, fast-paced spin on our cybersecurity challenge. Participants tested their knowledge of encryption, digital defense, and everyday online safety while competing in an interactive “quiz show” format. It was inspiring to see kids and adults alike get excited about cybersecurity concepts in such a playful way.

Next came STEMByte’s MedBay Challenge, where players once again stepped into the role of “Creature Care Assistants.” With teamwork, observation, and biology know-how, participants worked to diagnose the conditions of our plush toy creatures and brainstorm creative treatments. The blend of science and roleplay had everyone smiling, learning, and laughing together.

We closed out ImmerseCon with STEMByte’s Big 3 Storyteller, our data analysis and storytelling activity that united anime fans across both new gen and old gen. By collecting and analyzing community input, participants explored how data can reveal trends, tell powerful stories, and spark new conversations. It was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend, merging STEM, creativity, and community.

Day 2 was filled with curiosity, discovery, and teamwork. Seeing so many young people leave with smiles reminded us why we do what we do. As ImmerseCon 2025 came to a close, STEMByte felt proud and grateful to have shared our mission with such a fantastic community.
